Andrea is a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist, bringing a unique blend of professional expertise and personal experience to her practice. With a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Edith Cowan University, Andrea has an understanding of neurodiversity and mental health, both through her academic pursuits and her lived experiences within her family.  In her 11 year career, Andrea has experienced various settings, including inpatient mental health, aged care, disability services, and both hospital and community-based roles. This background has equipped her with knowledge of different funding schemes, enabling her to assist clients in utilising these systems effectively.

At the core of Andrea’s approach is a commitment to helping her clients enhance their daily lives and achieve their broader life goals. She employs practical strategies and a strengths-based perspective, firmly believing in the transformative impact of the right assistance and expertise.  Andrea is a fervent advocate for continual learning, especially in the realms of mental health and wellness. She is particularly intrigued by Somatic body-based approaches, which explore the interconnection between the body and mind. Her practice is imbued with mindful awareness and a focus on accentuating the positives in each individual’s journey.

Within her professional role, Andrea is an active member of Occupational Therapy Australia and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). In her personal time, Andrea treasures time spent with her family, and enjoys stretching, reading, beach outings and swimming. These activities not only bring her personal fulfilment but also enrich her professional perspective, allowing her to bring a holistic and empathetic approach to her work.
